Dr. Franka Schäfer at the Institute of Sociology

In the summer semester of 2026, PD Dr. Franka Schäfer will be part of our team, and we warmly welcome her. PD Dr. Schäfer's research and teaching focus on sociological theory, praxeology, qualitative methods, and transformation. She will be substituting for Dr. Imke Schmincke, who is currently a visiting professor at Goethe University Frankfurt, for her teaching duties in the summer semester of 2026.
